The Pyrotect Rugged Radios MIDAIR RACE Helmet Wired OFFROAD is an SA2020 rated helmet designed for off-road, circle track, or kart racing. Its unique mid-air inlet improves airflow to the shield, reducing fog and dust while providing extra headroom inside the vehicle. The elevated inlet also keeps air from interfering with the front-facing microphone, ensuring clear communication. For an enhanced fresh air experience, pair with the MAC3.2 Air Pumper System.

The interior is engineered with the Alpha Audio Helmet Kit, featuring a dedicated mic enclosure, vented ear pockets, and a 3.5mm earbud jack for optimal in-helmet audio performance. The patented six-pad interior system allows a perfect fit, is removable for cleaning, and features corrugated ridges for effective heat transfer and minimized fogging.

Constructed with a lightweight Composite Tri Weave shell that is vacuum bagged and autoclave cured for strength and durability, the helmet includes stainless steel hardware, threaded inserts for neck restraints, a Kevlar chinstrap, and a .125 Polycarbonate shield with tear-off post. Additional features include a rubber eye port seal, a large eye port for superior visibility, aerodynamic design, fire retardant Nomex interior, and compatibility with Racing Optics or Ultra Shield tear offs. Finished in flat black, the helmet balances safety, comfort, and performance.
