It's a No Ground Plane antenna that just screws onto the existing antenna mount via the SMA male connector. Increases your transmit distance, maximizing range and performance of your handheld radio, and is ideal for outdoor use, off-road racing and longer distances. Easy install, needing just to screw into the existing port. Compatible with both V3 and RH5R handheld radios. This antenna is not for use with the R1 radio.
